This post has nothing to do with Real Estate, but something dear to my heart. I am now a foster Mom for Bassett Hounds and Bloodhounds. Here is a picture of my first foster child Jesse
A bloodhound mix. He has a bad cold and I am nursing him back to health and hoping there is a family out there looking for a pet to adopt- but if not I will care for him- unconditionally.
Please spay or neuter your pets.
Good for you, Jamie! There are never enough foster homes for all the animals in shelters and rescue groups who need our help. Without foster homes, rescue groups just wouldn’t be able to help out the few that we do get to help get into forever homes. Foster homes are the life blood of a rescue group. Thank you for realizing that and opening up your home and your heart to help save Jesse and the basset hound foster you’ll get tomorrow. I’m sure that lick on the cheek from both of them will remind you that you did a wonderful good deed!

Hi Janet,
I am sure I have a lot to learn, but so far so good- I am going to start a blog- just to document and share my experiences as a foster Mom- hoping others may be able to learn and hopeful open their hearts and homes for foster dogs.
Please let me know when you get the blog about your fostering experience started, Jamie. You may accomplish much more than you’re even considering by sharing your fostering experiences with ‘the world’. That’s a great way to try and entice others to open their hearts and their homes to an animal in need. Good luck with this effort!
