Cleaning for the Event-Selling a home in Phoenix

Apparently, I am an “event” cleaner. I have been cleaning the house this evening and both of my teenage boys asked me “Why are you cleaning” my response “The house is dirty” With 4 dogs and 2 days of rain- there is dirt tracked in from the dogs and the weekly dust bunnies that have collected- It is time to clean, vacuum and remove the dust that collects very rapidly when you live in the boon docks- with dirt roads leading to you house.
Truth be known- if I am hosting an “event” I will clean and make sure the hood looks good, so I guess that is what prompted the “Why are you cleaning” question.
If you are selling your home in Phoenix- do as I say, not as I do- don’t be an event cleaner. To sell a home in the market today- your home needs to shine everyday. Why do you think builders sell homes- MODEL HOMES- people fall in love with the MODELS. Make your home show like a MODEL, price it right and it will SELL.
