If you are not familiar with Ahwatukee, it has something for everyone. Active Adult communities, Starter homes and beautiful Custom homes with breath taking views.
The Active Adult area features and a terrific Rec Center- my Mom lives in the Active Adult community and participates in the annual play that the ARC puts on every year. You can also enjoy water aerobics, lawn bowling, monthly trips to local casinos and much more.
If you are a family looking to raise your family here, Ahwatukee has great schools. The Kyrene School District has always been one reason family’s are drawn to this area, it was one of the reasons I chose to live here when my children were in elementary school.

One of the nice things about Ahwatukee is there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. One of my family’s favorite restaurants is Ruffino’s -great Italian food and you can also reserve a limo for your ride home!!
For fun and recreation, Ahwatukee has some wonderful parks, ball fields and Peco’s Park features 66-acres with lit soccer, football and multipurpose athletic fields, skate plaza PETsMART Dog Park at Pecos Park- 1.5 acre off-leash activity area for dogs, large playground with water play area, swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, Ramadas, sand and concrete volleyball courts and .9-mile paved path circles the playing fields.
